When will you be open?

Our Summer Opening times are 9.30 – 17.00 (last entry at 15.00). You must pre-book a timed entry slot to visit.

 

How do I pre-book a timed entry slot?

We have released a limited number of timed entry slots online which you can pre-book up to twelve months in advance. Head to our bookings page to select a timed entry slot and your ticket type.

 

Why do I have to pre-book a timed entry slot?

Whilst we limit the number of visitors on site, we are asking everyone to pre-book onto a 30 minute timed entry slot. This will help us manage the entry flow, avoid queues and reduce contact.  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to visit without pre-booking. This includes Friends and existing Annual Season Pass holders.

 

How many tickets will be available each day?

To help us manage capacity onsite we are limiting the number of tickets available. We will be monitoring this closely and hope to release extra tickets over the coming weeks so please keep checking our website for the latest updates.

 

How far in advance can I book a timed entry slot?

You can pre-book a timed entry slot up to twelve months in advance.

 

If I have an Annual Season Pass or a Friend Membership, do I have to prebook?

Yes. In order to safely limit the number of visitors on site, all visitors, including Friends or Annual Season Pass holders, must pre-book a timed entry slot online. Unfortunately, anyone who arrives without a pre-booked timed entry slot will not be allowed entry.

 

Do I need to pay extra if I am a Friend or have an existing valid Annual Season Pass?

No, you don’t need to pay anything extra. Just book a time slot and date to visit and bring your Friends’ membership card and a form of ID with you, or your Annual Season Pass.

 

My Annual Season Pass expired during lockdown and I wasn’t able to visit. Have you extended Annual Season Passes?  

We are pleased to extend all Annual Season Passes by four months from the date of their expiration. If you would like to come back, please book a time slot via our website and bring your Annual Season Pass with you to show in Admissions on arrival.

 

My Annual Season Pass is still valid but are you automatically extending its validity to compensate for your closure? 

We recognise that a lot of people would have been prevented from using their Annual Season Pass for return visits during the lockdown. We are pleased to extend all Annual Season Passes by four months from the date of their expiration. If you would like to come back, please book a time slot via our website and bring your Annual Season Pass with you to show in Admissions on arrival.

 

I was booked to visit during your closure period. Can I reschedule to come another time?

Yes, we would love to welcome you back when we reopen. Please pre-book a timed entry slot online and make sure you bring your Annual Season Pass with you to show at Admissions.

 

I had an afternoon tea booked during lockdown. Can I rearrange?

Yes, we have contacted all those who had pre-booked an afternoon tea to rearrange your visit. If you haven’t been contacted, please email our Bookings team on [email protected].

 

What should I do when I arrive for my pre-booked time slot?

When you book onto a timed entry slot, you will receive a booking confirmation email. Please bring this email with you when you arrive, either on a mobile device or as a print out, plus any ID required for concessions and Friends. We want to keep queuing to a minimum so if you can have these ready when you arrive in Admissions, we’d be grateful.
Please try and arrive within your pre-booked 30 minutes timeslot. This doesn’t limit your time onsite; it just allows us to stagger entry so we can manage flow. Please help keep to social distancing guidelines and don’t arrive earlier than your pre-booked time.

 

What if I am early for my pre-booked timed entry slot?

Please try and arrive within your pre-booked 30 minutes timeslot to help us manage flow. If you are early, please help keep to social distancing guidelines. For the safety of all of our visitors and team members, please be aware that if you arrive early for your visit, you may be asked to wait by your vehicle until it is time for your timed entry slot.

 

What if I am late for my pre-booked timed entry slot?

Please try to arrive within your pre-booked 30 minutes timed entry slot. If you are late, please talk to a member of our team when you arrive on site.

 

When is your last entry? If I book a timed entry slot, will I only have 30 mins to explore the site?  

Our 30 minute timed entry slots will help us manage flow on site and stagger entry. They do not limit your time on site. Our last timed entry slot is currently 15.00, which will still give you two hours to explore the site – perfect for an afternoon out. Our Annual Season Pass gives you unlimited free returns for a year. Everyone who holds an Annual Season Pass must still pre-book a timed entry slot for all return visits.

 

How do I cancel my pre-booked timed slot if I can no longer make it?

In order to carefully limit the number of people on site, we are not able to welcome as many people as usual. Please only book if you are confident you will be able to make the slot.

How do I pre-book my ticket if I am a carer?

As a carer, when you pre-book your ticket, please select the ‘Adult returning season pass’ option from the ticket types available and ensure you are booked into the same timed-entry slot as the person for whom you are caring, and arrive together at Admissions. Carers or companions of disabled visitors access the site free of charge. Please take a look at our Admission prices page for further details of all ticket types.

 

How many people does a family ticket cover?

We offer two family tickets; a ticket that covers one adult and two children (aged 12-17), and a ticket that covers two adults and two children (aged 12-17). Under 12s visit for free (must be accompanied by an adult). Please select the appropriate family ticket type on our bookings page.

 

I have a voucher from a third party. Can I still book a visit?

Yes, if you have a prepaid ticket from a third party, please ring our Bookings team on 01908 272673, and they will book a timed entry slot for you.

 

Are you accepting any offers on tickets?

Yes, we are still be running our popular local resident ticket offer which gives those living within a ten miles radius 50% off usual admission prices. We will also still be offering discounts to English Heritage members, armed forces, over 60s. Under 12s will still be able to visit for free (must be accompanied by an adult). Can I buy a gift ticket?

If I want to visit with friends but we all purchased tickets separately, will we still be allowed to go round as a group?

You should only bring people in your household or social bubble with you and continue to adhere to the social distancing guidance. For this reason, we are limiting group size to six people for the time being. This is for your safety and protection. We will continue to review this policy in line with the latest government advice.

How long do you recommend for a visit?

There is a lot to see and do here at Bletchley Park, so we recommend four to five hours for a visit, however, the tickets you purchase will become Annual Season Passes and therefore you are always welcome to return as many times as you wish within a year of your first visit date. Don’t forget to pre-book your timed entry slot online. The last time entry slot is at 15.00 which still gives you two hours to explore the site.

 

What should I wear?

A visit to Bletchley Park involves both indoor and outdoor activities, we would recommend outdoor clothing and footwear to get the most out of your visit. Any heel which covers an area smaller than a postage stamp can cause irreparable damage to floors and carpets. We regret, therefore, that sharp-heeled shoes are not permitted.
