and peace

Join our live hosts Bletchley Park Research Officer, Dr Thomas Cheetham and Research Historian, Dr David Kenyon, for this special premiere event where we share the final episode of our four-part documentary series on the UK and USA’s special intelligence relationship. Also, for this exciting finale we’re delighted to welcome David Hatch, Senior Historian at the National Security Agency (NSA), who will be joining us live from the US.

Episode four follows Kenyon and Hatch, who will explore the UK and USA’s special relationship in the run up to Victory in Europe Day (VE Day), Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day) and beyond. Kenyon and Hatch will also delve into the decision to continue this special relationship post-war and what this alliance has meant for both countries up to the present day. Bletchley Park’s Exhibitions Manager, Erica Munro and Museum Archivist Dean Annison will explore items from the Bletchley Park collection, revealing some of the personal stories of the Bletchley Park Codebreakers.

After watching episode four, you will have the chance to ask our team and David Hatch your questions about themes explored during the documentary series as a whole.

Can’t make it to this event? Each documentary will be available on our YouTube channel shortly after each preview event.
