McAfee Online Safety Learning Officer

Once the top-secret home to World War Two Codebreakers, our Mission is to preserve and enhance
Bletchley Park, to attract, engage and educate visitors from all over the world through the continuing
restoration and development of the entire estate and our exhibitions.
Bletchley Park Trust seeks a creative, innovative and inspiring educator to deliver and develop a
programme of learning activities exploring online safety behaviours and issues.
McAfee are the sole project sponsors, supporting the creation of an interactive cyber security
exhibition and the development of an onsite and outreach online safety learning programme. The
main purpose of this post is to enhance understanding of cyber threats, increase awareness of online
safety issues and communicate the relevance of Bletchley Park’s historic achievements during World
War Two.
The role requires excellent project management, teaching, communication, facilitation and partnership
working skills. Experience in the production and delivery of effective learning activities and
management of volunteers is essential. Acting as a main point of contact for teachers and learning
providers, this post is focused on day to day delivery and is also responsible for reporting regularly to
McAfee.
You will be a qualified teacher or a graduate with a portfolio of educational projects willing to offer
fresh ideas and work closely with colleagues. This is a unique opportunity to continue to develop and
deliver a programme that works with major government and sector stakeholders. The sponsorship for
this post has been secured until August 2019.
