An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Assistant to join our team and support our day-to-day fundraising administration and operations. Working within the Development team, we are currently looking for an exceptional individual to support the team’s data processes and compliance, database administration and the delivery and growth of our Friends of Bletchley Park and Codebreakers’ Wall campaigns.
This is an exciting time to join Bletchley Park Trust, and this role will provide you the opportunity to learn about Development, extend your skills base and be part of a major capital programme to develop the iconic wartime site. The role is suited to individuals with strong written and verbal communications skills. You will be able to juggle a number of tasks at speed in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for people who always aim for the highest standards of customer service. We welcome applications from ‘go-getters’ with passion, enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence.
The Development Assistant is responsible to the Database and Membership Manager. You will need to be highly proficient and comfortable with IT and be comfortable managing routine tasks as well as project-based work enthusiastically. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to listen to and assist others, as well as an eagerness to learn. You will have great time management skills and thrive on working under pressure.
Fastidious attention to detail and ability to handle information with complete discretion are essential to this role. Please see the Job Description for further details around the person requirements and job responsibilities. This is a full-time role of 37.5 Hours per week. The salary is advertised at £19,500 and is based at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes. Benefits include 33 days leave, including statutory holidays, company pension scheme, death-in-service and healthcare cash-plan.
