This December, step back in time and experience a vintage Christmas at Bletchley Park. There will be vintage 1940s Christmas decorations around the Park, and keep an eye out for some gingerbread people!
With activities for children and families, and a few treats for adults too, Christmas is a great time to visit Bletchley Park – there’s so much to do and enjoy!
Some gingerbread people have come to visit Bletchley Park. Collect a free trail from admissions to help you find them all. There are also some puzzles to do.

For those who would really like to try their brainpower, there is the return of our Christmas Challenge, full of clues to unravel and puzzles to solve.
On certain dates there will be activities for families to take part in, please read on for details.
Don’t forget to pop into our Hut 4 Café or Block C Coffee Shop to warm up with a hot drink and maybe a festive treat.

Christmas Gingerbread Codebreaking
Gingerbread people can be found all over Bletchley Park this Christmas, and you can make your own with our family activities. Use air-dry clay to make your gingerbread people decorations to hang on your Christmas tree and break codes to find a recipe to make some sweet Christmas treats at home. Make do and mend and make Christmas decorations out of recycled materials, like families did during World War Two.
These sessions are suitable for families with children aged 5-14, accompanied by an adult.
Just drop into Block E Learning Centre any time between 11.00 and 15.30 (last admission to the session is 15.00).

Puzzles and Pastimes
Did you know that many of the Bletchley Park Codebreakers enjoyed puzzles and games in their free time? Find out if you could have been a Codebreaker by completing puzzles, playing games, testing your skills, and challenging your friends and family!

Treat yourself to a special afternoon tea in our Dining Room, or grab a treat from our cafe or coffee shop. From warming hot drinks to tasty sandwiches and cakes – there is so much to enjoy!
The Menorah
Celebrating Hanukkah
During the period of Hanukkah, until 2 January, Bletchley Park will be hosting a menorah on behalf of the Chabad Centre of Milton Keynes. The menorah will be lit at sunset each evening.
