1. E-TICKETS PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tickets sold online are only valid for the date stated on them. Tickets do not guarantee car parking.

After placing your order with us you will be sent an email which will be your e-ticket.  You must print off and present this confirmation, or alternatively display on a smart phone, in Admissions on arrival at Bletchley Park.

Please ensure you have checked the website www.bletchleypark.org.uk before your visit to confirm the museum is open and you are aware of any closures to all or part of the museum.

Management reserves the right to close the museum at short notice if it believes there is a risk to the health and safety of visitors, or due to any events, acts or accidents beyond our reasonable control and, under these circumstances, we shall have no liability to you.

On arrival at Admissions, you will be issued with an Annual Pass that you will be required to write your name on and add your signature to validate it.  The validated Annual Pass will allow entry to Bletchley Park for 12 months from the date of your first visit.  Please see below for further terms and conditions of the Annual Pass.

E-tickets purchased may only be used once..  All e-tickets purchased must be redeemed on the date booked.

The Local Resident promotion is available when booking online. Proof of qualifying address must be presented on arrival in Admissions. All other vouchers, promotions, special offers or inclusive travel packages will need to reserve a booked timed-entry by contacting our Bookings Team on 01908 272673. They will facilitate your reservation and send you a booking confirmation by email which will become your e-ticket.

Online bookings are currently for a maximum of 10 visitors.  Groups of 12 or more, are asked to contact our Bookings team to secure their tickets on 01908 272673. 

The terms and conditions of the Annual Pass are as follows:

  • Each Annual Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of the first visit to Bletchley Park and may only be used by the named visitor.
  • To validate an Annual Pass each entrance ticket must be completed with the name of the visitor, signed where indicated while on site.
  • Holders of Annual Passes returning to Bletchley Park may book a timed-entry slot via the website, selecting the “Returning Annual Pass” £0.00 option. This will generate an e-ticket to facilitate entry to Bletchley Park. Alternatively, they may arrive on the day and present their pass in Admissions and an e-ticket will be given.
  • On arrival in Admissions, Annual Pass holders must scan their e-ticket and also show their Annual Pass. Periodically they may be requested to produce an additional form of ID demonstrating name and signature.
  • Children under the age of 12 go free and will not be issued an Annual Pass.
  • Carers accompanying disabled visitors can access the site for free and will not be issued an Annual Season Pass.
  • Those in possession of a complimentary ticket will not be issued an Annual Pass (unless otherwise stated on the complimentary ticket).
  • When a family ticket is purchased, Annual Passes will be issued to each of the adults and children aged 12 to 17. Each of these tickets must be validated during initial visit.
  • There may be occasions where the museum, some exhibitions or some parts of the museum will not be open to the holders of Annual Passes. Please ensure you have checked the website before your visit to confirm the museum is open to Annual Pass holders, and you are aware of any closures to all or part of the museum.
  • The Annual Pass excludes admission to events where the museum exhibitions are not open, for example 1940s Boutique. Please see our website for a list of suchevents.
  • Bletchley Park Trust reserves the right to close the museum to Annual Season holders on up to 10 days per year.
  • Annual Passes are not transferable and may not be exchanged or refunded.
  • If an Annual Pass is lost it will not be replaced.

General admission conditions of entry

  • Adults must accompany all children under the age of 16.
  • Management reserves the right to close the museum at short notice if it believes there is a risk to the health and safety of visitors, or due to any events, acts or accidents beyond our reasonable control.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry if for any reason it deems there is a risk to the museum, the public or the staff on site.
  • Customers displaying anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave and could be subject to prosecution.
  • Dogs are not permitted onto the site, with the exception of assistance dogs and guide dogs.
  • To prevent offensive or dangerous articles being taken into Bletchley Park, visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched by Bletchley Park Trust staff.

2. GROUPS

Bletchley Park hosts adult groups visits which may include private guided tours and group catering. Group visits and rates are only available to pre-booked groups of 12 or more people.  

  • Tickets purchased for pre-booked groups cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.  
  • Bookings will be confirmed when the Bookings office receive a signed copy of the groups terms and conditions.  
  • Amendments to your booking can be made up to 14 calendar days prior to your visit by contacting the Bookings office. Any changes made to your group booking after the 14 days stated may be subject to an administration fee. 
  • Private guided tours are not permitted on site. 
  • Due to the high number of group bookings enquiries, we receive, provisional bookings will be held for 60 calendar days after the date of booking, within which time we require a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions to be returned. After this time, your provisional booking will be cancelled.   
  • You can cancel your booking up to 14 calendar days prior to your visit without penalty. We ask that you confirm cancellations via email to [email protected] 
  • If you cancel your visit within 14 days of your booked visit, a full payment will be required. 
  • Full payment is due a minimum of 14 calendar days prior to your visit. If payment is not made by 12:00 noon on this date, the booking will be cancelled. 
  • If actual numbers on the day are less than booked, no refund will be given.

LEARNING VISITS

Bletchley Park hosts visits by educational groups which may include workshops, demonstrations, tours and activity packs.  Sessions must be booked in advance and are not open to the general public.  Activities are tailored to primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, special education needs and adult groups.

All learning enquiries must contact the learning team.

 

3. EVENT TICKETS PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please refer to the description of your event ticket as specified when purchasing.

Event tickets will not be issued an Annual Pass (unless otherwise stated on the event ticket).

4. HOW TO MAKE A PURCHASE

E-TICKETS FOR STANDARD ENTRANCE

The website homepage has a “Book Now” button which will take you to our ticketing calendar.

ALL BOOKINGS

Once on the appropriate calendar page, you will be asked to:

  • Select the date you require
  • Select the ticket type and quantity
  • “Add a guidebook” if required.  If you choose to “add a guidebook” you will collect this guidebook on the day of your visit, from Admissions. You will not be sent this ahead of your visit.
  • Select the half-hour entry timeslot (indicating the start of the 30 minute entry time-slot chosen) you require
  • “Add a donation” if required
  • If you are purchasing an e-ticket for standard entrance you will be asked if you wish to Gift Aid your purchase.  If you tick that you would like to add Gift Aid to this purchase you are providing the Gift Aid declaration as set out on the website.
  • Register or create an account. Add your details.  Please note these details are used for payment purposes and so should be the details of the cardholder.
  • We ask you to let us know “how did you hear about us” to help us monitor effective methods of marketing.
  • You can choose to “keep in touch with us”. If you wish to be kept up-to-date with news from Bletchley Park by email, then please check the box under “keeping in touch”.  You will be sent an email to allow you to share your preferences with us.  If you chose to request email updates, you will subsequently be able to unsubscribe by using the link in the emails we send you.

  • Tickets can only be used at the Bletchley Park admission desk. 
  • Tickets have no monetary value and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, discounts or promotions.  
  • Tickets remain the property of Bletchley Park at all times. 
  • Bletchley Park can refuse to accept tickets which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise are suspected to be to be fraudulent.

9. PROMOTIONS, OFFERS AND THIRD-PARTY TICKET SALES

Additional terms and conditions may apply to promotions, offers and tickets bought through a third party.  Please read the terms and conditions provided by the Promoter or Third-party Supplier before purchasing.

Many promotions are only redeemable by telephone booking and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount (including against discounted rates for Groups).  Each voucher can only be used once for discount on a single ticket and are valid until the date stated on the voucher.

Terms 

  • Venue refers to Bletchley Park and the venue of the conference dinner. 
  • Organisers refers to the Bletchley Park Trust and GCHQ. 
  • Event refers to the National Intelligence History Conference held 20 November – 22 November 2024, and ancillary events such as the conference dinner and drinks reception. 
  • Participant(s) refers to those who have booked to attend the National Intelligence History Conference. 
  • Speaker(s) refers to those who are speaking or presenting at the Event.  

All terms and conditions relating to events at Bletchley Park apply except when overridden by the following. 

 1. Confirmation and Registration Process 

1.1 Once Participants have completed and paid for their booking, a booking confirmation email will be sent to them. 

1.2 A link to an online registration form will be included in the booking confirmation email. This form must be completed by 20 October 2024.  

1.3 Participants will receive an acknowledgement of their registration after 20 October 2024, to confirm that the Organisers have received the information given to us on the registration form. 

1.4 If a Participant does not receive an email confirmation by 7 November 2024, please contact  [email protected]  

 

2. Venue and special requirements 

2.1 Participants must comply with the rules and regulations governing the Venue. There will be a left luggage facility available, however if Participants bring any property to the Venue, they do so at their own risk. The Organisers are not responsible for any loss and/or damage to such property. If Participants are using car parking facilities at the Venue, Participants do so entirely at their own risk. Car parking onsite at the Venue during the Event for Participants is free of charge. The Organisers do not accept any responsibility for any loss and/or damage resulting from Participants use of such car parking facilities.  

2.2 The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to any person to the Venue whom they consider in their absolute discretion to be unsuitable for admission to the Event or to remove such person after the start of the Event. 

2.3 If Participants have any access, dietary or any other additional requirements this should be included in their registration form or by email [email protected] as soon as possible and, in any event, 7 days before the start of the conference. 

 

3. Conference Changes 

3.1 The Organisers reserve the right to make any changes to the conference at any time without prior written notice. For example, such changes may include changing the programme, the speakers and timings. 

 

4. Cancellations 

4.1 The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the Event at their sole discretion for any reason and at any time. In the event of such a cancellation, the Organisers will refund any booking fees paid, and will use reasonable endeavours to notify Participants of such cancellation. 

4.2 In the event of cancellation by the Organisers, the Organisers will not be liable for any payments relating to travel, accommodation, visas or any additional fees or loss of funds relating to Participants planned attendance at the conference.  

4.3 If Participants wish to cancel, Participants must email [email protected] or phone 01908 640404 as soon as possible as this will impact on whether the Organisers can give Participants a refund of their booking fees. If Participants cancel by 20 October 2024, they will receive a refund of 50% of their booking fees. However, if Participants cancel after 20 October 2024, refunds will not be available except in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, decided on a case-by-case basis by the Organisers. 

 

5. Booking and Fees (including ancillary events) 

5.1 Bookings for the National Intelligence History Conference can only be made through bletchleypark.org.uk.  

5.2 Bookings must be made by 20 October 2024. 

5.3  (a) A 3-day ticket for the conference includes:  

  • Admission to all conference sessions and plenary events. 
  • Tea, coffee and refreshments during breaks on days Participants attend the event.  
  • A sandwich buffet lunch on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 November. 
  • Evening drinks reception on Wednesday 20 November. 
  • Admission to Bletchley Park (heritage site) during visitor hours (09.30-16.00) on the days Participants attend the event.  

(b) A 1-day ticket for the conference includes:  

  • Admission to all conference sessions and plenary events on the chosen day of attendance only. 
  • Tea, coffee and refreshments during breaks on the chosen day of attendance only. 
  • A sandwich buffet lunch if attending on Thursday 21 or Friday 22 November 
  • Admission to Bletchley Park (heritage site) during visitor hours (09.30-16.00) on the chosen day of attendance.  

If choosing to attend on Wednesday 20th November, your ticket also includes attendance at the evening drinks reception.  

5.4 Tickets to the conference do not include travel, accommodation, local transport, conference dinner or visas. The drinks reception is not included, except for those who hold a valid ticket for attendance at the conference on Wednesday 20 November 2024 (1-day or 3-day ticket). 

5.5 Attendance to the conference dinner on Thursday 21 November 2024 is optional, and there is an additional charge. This event should be booked separately.  Only those attending the conference (plus one additional guest, if required) can book for this event. 

5.6 Those attending the conference wishing to attend the drinks reception on Wednesday 20 November 2024 who do not have a valid ticket for the conference on that day – or those wishing to bring an additional guest – can book a place by calling 01908 272673. There will be an additional charge of £50 per additional guest to attend the drinks reception. 

5.7 Tickets for the conference are not valid Annual Passes for admission to Bletchley Park. 

5.8 Payment in full of any applicable fees for the conference is due upon booking.  

5.9 Those in receipt of Oxford Intelligence Group bursaries should book as usual and claim expenses through the OIG. The OIG will have contacted you separately about the claim process.

(a) observe the rules, policies and procedures of the Venue including in relation to health and safety and any reasonable instructions issued;
(b) behave in a respectful, professional and appropriate way that does not breach the laws or regulations of the UK or that risks bringing the conference or Organisers into disrepute;
(c) ensure they have adequate insurance for their own requirements, including personal accident and travel insurance, prior to attending
(d) ensure they have all necessary travel documentation, including but not limited to visas and other entry permits into the UK, and that they comply with all health formalities and any applicable laws. 

6.2 Participants agree that their travel to and attendance at the Event is at their own risk and not the responsibility of the Organisers. The Organisers are not obliged to provide any advice or assistance relating to the obtaining of visas. 

6.2 It is Participants’ responsibility to update the Organisers of any changes to their contact details so that the Organisers are able to contact them. 

6.3 The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry by any Participant to the Event or to remove any Participant from the Event without any liability for any reason and at its sole discretion. 

6.4 The Organisers reserve the right to recover from Participants any loss or damage incurred or suffered by the Organisers, the Venue or any other Participants as a result of their conduct at the Event or failure to comply with these Terms. In such circumstances, a Participant shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees. 

6.5 By attending the conference, Participants acknowledge that photographs and filming may take place. The Organisers reserve the right to use images and videos recorded at the conference with Participants’ photographs and/or likenesses in future marketing materials, including social media channels, websites, and print material, without obtaining any further approval from Participants or making any payment. If Participants do not wish their photograph to be taken, please notify the photographer and reasonable endeavours will be used to comply with the request. 

 

7. Data Protection and Copyright 

7.1 Bletchley Park’s Privacy Policy applies. 

7.2 Any presentations, slides or materials delivered by Participants at the Event remain the intellectual property of the Participant(s), and as such cannot be used, reproduced, shared, or the content copied for any purpose, except where express consent has been provided for promotional activity or other agreed exceptions.     

 

8. Force Majeure 

8.1 In this clause, “Force Majeure” means circumstances which are beyond the Organisers’ reasonable control, and which are reasonably likely to affect the successful delivery of the conference or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for the Organisers to host the conference or perform their obligations. 

8.2 If, as a result of Force Majeure, the Organisers cancel the conference, the Organisers shall use reasonable endeavours to reschedule the conference. 

8.3 If the Organisers are unable to reschedule the conference, the Organisers shall refund the Participant’s fees as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 60 days from the date of notice of cancellation. 

8.4 Without prejudice to their obligation to refund any fees to Participants, the Organisers accept no liability and shall pay no compensation where the performance of its obligations is made impracticable, illegal or impossible by or as a result of Force Majeure.
